Social interaction manifests itself in many ways. Communities form beneath and through the peoples consciouness and they become networked in a way few realize or choose to acknowledge. Common places serve as public forums where these people (of all different backgrounds, and social status') intertwine, if only subconsciously, solidifying their place in the community. In this visual discovery, the common place is Riddle Road Market, a community embraced place to procure pizza, beer, cigarettes and a colorful crowd.
For the series I learned to use a 4x5 camera and took portraits of people around the market, both friends and strangers to attempt to capture a piece of the neighborhood on a day to day basis.
